Do we have the Proof that Bigfoot exists? The answer may surprise you.

    Our hairy homie is out there, keeping an eye on us from behind that pine tree, right? The legendary beast seems to be everywhere these days. But do we have the proof? Leading experts say that we do. The journey to find Bigfoot starts back on that cool crisp morning in October of 1967. It took place in the wooded forests of Northern California at Bluff Creek. The famous film which is now dubbed the Pattie footage. The famous Patteson/Gimlin film was shot using a 16mm Cine Kodak camera and to this day is the most heavily scrutinized and debated tape in American history. It wasn't very long before the camera caught something strange moving in the forest clearing in front of them. Bob Gimlin said, "We were just riding out alongside the creek, riding along enjoying the warm sunshine day. Then across the creek, there was one standing. Everything happened so fast."

    For many leading experts alike this video is proof that Pattie exists. She is as real as you are to me. For others, it's just a big guy in a monkey suit or a hoax like other videos showing proof of aliens, cryptids, or ghosts. Bob Gimlin and Roger Patterson know exactly what it was that they saw that fateful day and no-one will tell them different. Bob Gimlin said with conviction,"It walked upright and for quite a long ways. It didn't look like a bear. I've been in the woods my whole life. There's no doubt in my mind at all what it was. "And so it goes, the legend of Bigfoot was born into American culture and since then there have been countless sightings and reports of the elusive creature. But to this day people will argue and say," Where's the body? If there was such a creature, why havent we found any bones?" 

     These questions and more have always come to light by the skeptics and so the journey continues on for our hairy homie. The scientific evidence of a modern day Bigfoot may be proving elusive, but a giant, bipedal ape once walked the earth thousands of years ago based on fossil records. That's a fact.It was the species named Gigantopithecus blacki and it stood 10 feet tall and weighed 600 pounds. But for today, the only question that remains is, do we have a modern day Bigfoot roaming the deep wooded forests of America. Time will tell and it has told. But for me, he's real, people, and he loves Idaho as much as you and I do. So keep an eye out for that fleeting glance of fur running across the tree line. It just might be our cryptid buddy letting you know that he's out there, alive and well and living the Idaho life to the fullest just like you and me.
